A Little Surprise
You were being carried in a basket that's all you knew. You were sleeping soundly as snow fell from the night sky. Your birth mother carried you to a house and laid the basket you were in on a porch and then she was gone. You didn't cry like most babies, you were pretty calm. The one thing that your mother made sure of before she abandoned you was that you'd be warm and cozy in your little basket. Little did you know that in a few hours a certain immature American would find you on his porch.
~~~Le time skip to the morning~~~
Alfred got out of bed and yawned. "I better get the paper." He said to himself. He opened the door to see a small basket with a baby inside it. "What's this?" he asked picking up the basket.
You looked up at him with big (e/c) eyes. "WAAAAH!" you yelled.
"Uh, um please be quiet!" the American pleaded taking you inside. Alfred noticed something smelled nasty and then he noticed where the smell was coming from. "Ew gross, I think someone needs a diaper change." He said, pinching his nose. Soon he found some diapers in your little basket and changed your diaper. "Dang that was nasty." He muttered. How was he supposed to raise a child? He was still basically a child himself. You sat there looking at him and then he realized something. He doesn't know your name. He looked through the basket and found a tag. ‘Hello, I am giving you my child (name) because I cannot look after her anymore. I hope you will take care of her and love her with all your heart. ~Anonymous’ "So your name is (name) huh?" he asked.
"Gwah!" you said happily.
"…. Well I don't know what that means but okay!" Alfred exclaimed smiling. "Hm maybe I should feed you." He added. He went to the pantry and found something to eat. "Here" He said holding up some baby food. (why does he have baby food? I don't know…) He grabbed a spoon and fed you the mashed up bananas.
~~~8 years later~~~
You skipped happily downstairs to see your 'dad' waiting for you in the kitchen. "Hey daddy!" you exclaimed happily.
"Good morning (name), I cooked you chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast." He said smiling at you.
You took a seat at the table and you shoveled down the pancakes. "Mmmm yummy!" you grinned, swallowing the mouthful of pancake. "So what are we going to do today daddy?" you asked.
"Well I was thinking that we could go to the playground." He replied picking up his 8 year old daughter and swinging her around.
He finally put you down and you two headed to the park happily. You never did find out who your real parents were, but Alfred loved and cared for you just like the note asked.
"I'm so glad you're my daddy." You said hugging Alfred.
He hugged you back. "And I'm glad that you're my daughter (name)." he replied looking down at you.

(__f/n__) listened as she heard her Father opening the door and talking to someone. She wondered who it was, maybe it was one of her Uncles or Big Brothers. "Uhh...Where the Hell is he? You grumbled, wiping your sweaty forehead. "It's getting hot in here! And my legs are going numb!"
You were sitting in a box. Yes. A box. But it was a box wrapped in gift wrapping paper with a bow ontop of the lid. You were wearing a nice green dress that was suppose to look like Lady Liberty's. It was shorter though, reaching to your knees, but it made you look cute. Especially with Lady Liberty's crown and torch. When you picked the outfit out, Francis, who was with you, thought you should wear this really short and tight dress that looked like the American flag was made out o

"Mama?", Your voice called softly, "M-Mama?", "MAMA!!", "MOMMY?!?!",
Your calls, for your mother became more panicked, and scared.
You thought it may have just been an accident, when your mother's hand slipped
from your own. "M-mommy...", Eventually, you had given up trying to yell
for your mother's return.
You looked around, timidly, and noticed the vast amount of people that
walked around you, it honestly scared you to no end.
Tears held at the back of your eyes, and you refused to cry.
You sucked a breath in, and maneuvered through the crowd.
'She'll find me. I know it.', You assured yourself.
