First Impressions

You walked out of the airport with all your suitcases. You had just moved to Italy, and you were super excited. The apartment you were moving into wasn't that far away so you decided to just walk there. As you're walking you take time to notice the beautiful scenery, but then you bump into someone. All the bags you're carrying fall onto the ground and everything falls out of your purse. "I'm so sorry!" you exclaim apologetically.

"Oh it's okay bella, I wasn't paying attention to where I was going." Says the man. "Here, let me help you pick up your stuff." He says.

You're already starting to pick up everything. "Thanks." You say. Once the both of you are all done picking up everything you notice that the man is extremely handsome. "How rude of me! I never asked what your name is!" you exclaim.

He chuckles. "It's Feliciano Vargas. And what's your name bella?" he asks.

You hold out your hand for a handshake. "I'm (first name), (first name) (last name)." you say.

He accepts the handshake. "Well it's nice to meet you (first name)." he replies. "By the way, do you need any help with those bags?" he asks.

"Um, no but thanks for offering." You reply.

"Ve~ Okay, see you around (first name)." he says skipping off.

Eventually you get to your apartment and you start to settle in. You couldn't stop thinking about Feliciano. He was just so cute, adorable, and sweet. What girl wouldn't like a guy like that? You take a shower and you get dressed, then you decide you'll walk to the market so you grab your purse.

Once you get to the market you hear someone calling your name. "(first name)!" the voice calls.

You turn around to see Feliciano running towards you. You smile. "Hi Feliciano, fancy meeting you here." You say.

He laughs. "Yeah I guess so! And I have to ask you something." He says.

"Okay shoot." You say.

He starts blushing and you can't help but smile. "W-well would y-you like to get some coffee later?" he asks.

You chuckle at his nervousness. "Sure that'd be great Feliciano." You say smiling. "How about I meet at the café that's right next to my apartment at around… noon." You suggest.

He nods happily. "Sure that'd be great! Oh, and you can call me Feli if it's easier for you." He says.

"Okay, see you later Feli." You say. You walk off and you buy some stuff for dinner later. Once you get home and you put the groceries away you change into a (favorite color) sundress with matching sandals. Then you check the time. "Hm its only 11:30, and the café is only a few minutes away…" you say. Then you hear someone knocking on the door. You open the door to see Feli.

"Ve~ Hi bella! I decided to come pick you up." He says smiling.

You smile back. "Wow that's so sweet Feli!" you say.

He takes your hand in his and you both walk to the café. The two of you talk about so many things. You found out that Feliciano really likes pasta and that he has a brother named Lovino. Once you get the café you both sit down at the table closest to the window. Soon a waiter comes to your table.

"Welcome to Lovino's Café, what would you two like to have today?" he asks.

You look at Feli with a look of surprise on your face. Lovino owned this café! You turn to the waiter. "I'll have a cup of tea." You say.

"And I'll have a small coffee with cream and sugar." Says Feliciano.

The waiter walks away. "Wow Feli, I didn't know your brother owned this café!" you say.

He nods. "Yeah, it's actually really successful." He says.

The waiter comes back with your drinks and then he leaves. The two of you talk about your life in America. "Yeah, I finished up college and then I taught 3rd grade for a while, and then I decided to move here." You say.

"All in 4 years?" he asks.

"Yeah, my parents really pressured me to do well in school and I skipped a few grades." You say. It was true, you were only 24, and you had finished college when you were 20 and you taught 3rd grade for 3 years.

"Did you have any fun?" Feli asks.

"Well, yeah, but school was WAY more important to me." You say as you finish up your tea.

Feliciano finished up his coffee and threw away his cup and my cup. "Want to take a walk?" he asks.

"Sure." I say taking his hand in mine. We walk out of the café and we walk to this little park. We sat on a bench and we just admired the scenery.

"Bella, there's something I need to tell you." Feliciano says.

"What is it Feli?" you ask.

He blushes. "Well, I know we only just met each other this morning, but I just wanted to tell you that I kind of like you." He says quietly.

You blush. "Well, I kind of like you too Feli." I say.

"Really?" he asks.

"Really." I say. You stand on your tiptoes to kiss his cheek. You were so glad that you moved to Italy.
