You sat down at one of the last free tables at your favorite café. You were typing up a paper for school when you heard someone walk in. You looked over to see Arthur Kirkland, your best friend.
“Artie!” you called, waving him over.
He sighed, and walked towards you, and took his seat. “(Name), you know I hate being called Artie.”
You smiled. “But it’s so cute!”
He blushed slightly. “No, it’s not.” He replied.
You giggled, and closed your laptop. You sipped your coffee, and made a face. “Ew its cold…” you mumbled.
Arthur laughed slightly. “Come on, let’s ditch this place, it’s too crowded.” He said, standing up.
You put your laptop in you backpack, and took his hand. You felt a small spark, and blushed. “Sounds good.” You smiled up at him.
His cheeks were pink, and he led you out of the coffee shop. “(Name), I have to tell you something important.” He said, looking at you, his emerald eyes sparkling.
“Alright, what is it Artie?” you asked curiously.
He sighed, and composed himself. “I love you (name), and I always have.” He said. “And… I just wanted to know if you felt the same…” he added. He looked at you, waiting for a reaction.
You paused for a moment, and kissed him softly. You felt a huge spark, and you smiled as you pulled away. “I love you too Artie.” You replied.
His face went red, and he smiled. “Let’s go to my place.” He said, taking your hand.
